Matt Wilhelm returns to FLE for presentation
June 6th officially ended another successful year for students and staff at Forest Lake Elementary. Students participated in an end of the year program, which included: Student of Month Awards, Bee Ticket Raffle, and three meaningful awards in honor of former students who have passed away while being students at FLE. These awards were: 6th grade Kyle Maher Award for outstanding citizenship, 6th grade Timmy Fultz Award for outstanding sportsmanship and the 5th grade Terrance Carlson Award for outstnading school spirit. All of these awards were student selected. Following this program, students enjoyed a Fun Day sponsored by our FLE/FVE PTA.
On behalf of the staff and students of FLE, thank you to all of the many volunteers for their help this school year. Whether it was chaperoning field trips. volunteering at the carnival, helping in the classroom, mentoring, popping corn, doing the school newsletter, serving as PTA officer, or whatever it was you helped out with, we appreciate the help and support you give. The FLE/FVE Walk-a-Thon raised over $10,000 which met our goal. All proceeds will be going to improve technology and learning opportunites for the students at both schools. Thank you to all families for your support.
